How to Improve Your AP US History Exam by Taking Sample Essays on US Expansion
How to Improve Your AP US History Exam by Taking Sample Essays on US ExpansionOne of the best ways to improve your grade in an AP US History exam is to obtain and practice samples of essay which address one of the most important aspects of this course, the US's expansion and the controversy over how it was handled. For instance, can you name a single history essay on the topic of whether or not we should have expanded the nation's boundaries? The expansion question was answered in the Civil War, when the northern states attempted to secede from the Union and form their own country, and when states seceded from the Union after the War of 1812, the question was whether or not the United States could control such a secessionist action. A large number of essays had to be written which dealt with these types of questions. It is also an excellent way to examine the course itself, as many times the questions are similar to the questions you will encounter on the exam. Examine a sample of an e ssay, from the US's expansion to its present size, how it has affected the whole world and the social aspects of it. When you can answer these questions, then you know that you have performed a perfect preparation for the exam. You may want to pick up some essay writing samples on the internet, and also look at a few essays that have been submitted to AP exams. Watch how they answer the question on US expansion. In most cases, the reader will see a simple, to the point response, but if you can't do that, there are other methods you can use to effectively answer the question. In order to effectively answer a question on expansion, the writer should approach the subject using a historical context. They should include the historical events in which the expansion took place, the major political and economic decisions which resulted in the expansion, and the big picture view of how the change was handled in the United States. From there, they can develop their essay around their history an d then start to take a history-based approach to answering the question. If your writing samples show you how to write an essay on expansion, you can also find many resources that show you how to write an essay on other important topics as well. Some examples of essays which deal with important issues are World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, World War I, The Great Depression, and World War II. You will find many resources available online, which have demonstrations of how to write these types of essays. When you apply for AP English classes, you will find that the writing samples you receive will vary depending on the type of course you are taking. When you take courses in which language is a primary focus, you will receive more extensive essay practice, as you will usually be writing essays on all sorts of topics.Remember that the only way to learn how to do well on the exam is to take the time to study, as well as practice. Therefore, it is vital that you follow a systematic app roach to essay writing, as well as practicing the skills through practice. You should do your homework, as well as review your essay samples when you need a refresher, in order to know what is expected.

Tropical Rainforest Regions
Tropical rainforests mainly occur in the Worlds equatorial regions. Tropical forests are restricted to the small land area between the latitudes 22.5à ° North and 22.5à ° South of the equator - between the Tropic of Capricorn and the Tropic of Cancer (see map). They are also located on major separate continental forests which preserve them as independent, non-contiguous realms. Rhett Butler, on his excellent siteà Mongabay, refers to these four regions as the Afrotropical, the Australian, the Indomalayan and the Neotropical rainforest realms. The Afrotropical Rainforest Realm Most of the tropical rainforests of Africa exist in the Congo (Zaire) River Basin. Remnants also exist throughout Western Africa which is in a sorry state due to the plight of poverty which encourages subsistence agriculture and firewood harvesting. This realm is increasingly dry and seasonal when compared to the other realms. The outlying portions of this rainforest region are steadily becoming desert. FAO suggests this realm lost the highest percentage of rainforests during the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s of any biogeographical realm. The Australian Oceanic Pacific Rainforest Realm Very little of the rainforest is located on the Australian continent. Most of this rainforest is located in Pacific New Guinea with a very small portion of the forest in the Northeast of Australia. Actually, the Australian forest has expanded over the last 18,000 years and remains relatively untouched. The Wallace Lineà separates this realm from the Indomalayan realm. Biogeographer Alfred Wallace marked the channel between Bali and Lombok as the divide between two great zoogeographic regions, the Oriental and Australian. The Indomalayan Rainforest Realm Asias remaining tropical rainforest is in Indonesia (on scattered islands), the Malay peninsula and Laos and Cambodia. Population pressures have dramatically decreased the original forest to scattered fragments. Southeast Asias rainforests are some of the oldest in the World. Studies have indicated that several have existed for over 100 million years. The Wallace Line separates this realm from the Australian realm. The Neotropical Rainforest Realm The Amazon River Basin covers some 40% of the South American continent and dwarfs all other forests in Central and South America. The Amazon rainforest is roughly the size of the forty-eight contiguous United States. It is the largest continuous rainforest on Earth. The good news is, four-fifths of the Amazon is still intact and healthy. Logging is heavy in certain areas but there is still debate over the adverse effects but governments are involved in new pro-rainforest legislation. Oil and gas, cattle and agriculture are major causes of neotropical deforestation.

Site Analysis for the Property for Opera House- myassignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theSite Analysis for the Property for Opera House. Answer: Site Analysis Location: The property is located between Grafton Lane and Buckland Street, two upcoming neighborhoods in the city of Sydney. Additionally the site of the property is located very close to the Central Business District of the city, with a roughly 10 minute drive to Hyde Park. Hence, the commercial value of the property is expected to remain high in the future too. The site is also located close to business centers such as bus, metro etc . Additionally, the location is just 10-15 minutes away from the airport. Market Assessment: The proximity to the Central Business District increases its value due to the access it provides to various commercial opportunities as well as leisure and recreational sites. The value of the property not only high due to convenience value it provides to the habitants but also because these factors increase the rental value of the property. Additionally, the resale value of the property is also expected to be high since the property has been rezoned into mixed use land. (City of Sydney 2013) The Property is located close to business centers, University of Sydney and several leisure and recreation sites such as Opera House, Broadway etc.. The site is located at a 10-15 minutes walking distance from University of Notre Dam and is close to the University of Sydney. The presence of high number of students seeking accommodation and other services increases the value of the property. Moreover, there is an increasing prestige value attached to the location. (Williams 201 7) (Cummins 2017) Commercial Risk Assessment: The site has been classified as mixed use land and that helps minimize commercial risks. There are several sources that believe the property prices in the city, in general, to be over-valued and at the peak currently.(Hutchens 2017) Hence, there is a risk that the current price may be slightly on the higher end and banks may be wary of funding the project.(Janda 2017) A market correction in the process of property in the given area is expected to be high.(Zhou and Duke 2017) However, given that the property is located close to the Central Business District, long term prospects of the property are strong. The zoning laws are expected to be more liberal in the future given the commercial importance of the site. Hence, the risks associated with constraints placed by city regulations regarding zoning and city planning, such as Floor Space Ratio, traffic laws, environmental protection laws etc., are expected to be minimal. The property investment is also justifies due to the fact that it is slated for a lower correction than similar neighborhood in other cities, thus, minimizing risks.(Zhou and Duke 2017) Management of Site: Management of the property is expected to be present few problems in the future since given the premium location of the site. The property does not have any problems with regards to basic services such as water supply, gas pipeline, waste management etc. Overall, the prospects of the property remain high with several positives. In terms of logistical issues such as future regulations and the logistical issues surrounding the management of the property also, the property seems a very viable project. The Entrepreneur in Economics Essay Example For Students
The Entrepreneur in Economics Essay Current economic research denies the innate characteristics of the entrepreneur. Rather than attributing economic growth and innovation to personality traits, economists would rather advocate a form of economic determinism: if an aggressive personality dominated an industry, economists try to explain the characteristics of the industry that made aggression a successful strategy. Economic models are contrived to remove the personality from the entrepreneur, to make all entrepreneurial decisions predestined, given enough time. However, to deny Bill Gatess or Steve Jobss role in economic history is equivalent to denying Hitlers role in creating a Nazi Germany or Castros role in creating a Communist Cuba. Claiming that history or economics is deterministic is silly. We will write a custom essay on The Entrepreneur in Economics specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Entrepreneurs are people who make decisions; their decisions need not fall out of dry economic models, just as no literary model could predict the words of Shakespeare and no historical model could predict the future. However, we must be systematic in our approach to identifying entrepreneurial characteristics and not fatuously assert that entrepreneurs drive economic change. Instead, we must link specific entrepreneurial tasks to specific entrepreneurial traits with the goal of understanding how these traits crucially affect the evolution of a business from a startup to Fortune 500 company. This paper will explore current economic views of the entrepreneur and assert that there are common entrepreneurial traits that affect both the decision to become an entrepreneur and the level of entrepreneurial success. We must first debunk the idea, advocated by Knight and Mises, of the entrepreneur as risk-bearer (Peter Swoboda, 1984). Aside from making every stock market participant an entrepreneur, this definition simply does not describe actual entrepreneurs and must be discredited. In Amar Bhides 1989 study of Inc. 500 companies, where an Inc. 500 company grows its sales on average by 170 percent per year from 1983 1988, Bhide found that they have a low scale for profitable operation, in most cases less than $10,000. With low fixed costs and a small profitable scale, the risk of failure is minimized and the expected distribution of profits is skewed.Further negating the risk faced by the entrepreneur, the founders were predominantly college-educated middle class men with low opportunity costs (see charts below). By starting a company with a small scale of profitable operation, they faced a heads I win, tails I dont lose much scenario. If they failed, they could place the attempt on their resume. Entrepreneurs are not betting the family fortune or making their years spent earning an MBA worthless; instead, we find that an Inc. 500 founder is just about as likely to have only a high school education as to hold an MBA and as likely to be very poor as very affluent. The entrepreneur need not be less risk averse than the average human being. As Jeff Bezos famously noted, it would have been far riskier for him to not have started Amazon.com than to have started it. If Bezos had spent 12 years at medical school studying neurosurgery or had to give up a $3 million a year position at his fathers company, he would not have faced an incentive structure that would have made founding a company the least risky option. What is noteworthy is just how wrong Knight and Mises are with their conception of entrepreneur as risk-bearer. Not only is the entrepreneur not necessarily a risk-bearer, he is more akin to an arbitrageur with his heads I win, tails I dont lose much incentive structure. Inc. 500 entrepreneurs tend to serve niche markets with high market turbulence, which lead to many arbitrage opportunities in so far as the founder can satisfy the wants of an uncertain market. The arbitrage is not riskless, but it is nearly so. .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .postImageUrl , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:hover , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:visited , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:active { border:0!important; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:active , .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3 .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u34003ba61c66db1431b8d7117a1aa6b3:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: John Keats And Bob Dylan Essay For the author, himself an entrepreneur with $300K annual revenue and a business that serves a niche market with high uncertainty, the opportunity cost of starting a business while a student at college is trivially low. However, all people with low opportunity costs do not found companies. That slow action time zone I receive in the midst of battling a position for a race is the feeling that cannot be explained, but for one to have experienced it to know. That time zone where everything is slowed, is where I have the chance to forget all the stress built up, and to Just enjoy the ecstasy feeling of the adrenaline. This ecstasy feeling is so great that one could sacrifice a stressful moment of their life Just to sit down and enjoy the beautiful scenery around them. Then all of a sudden, the feeling would Just seem to fade away and the life I once had comes back. Though knowing the fact that this adrenaline feeling could be experienced again, the depression I have decreases just a bit, while I look forward to the next time will experience it again. While the want for adrenaline, comes with the want to return a favor to my family. Thinking of the pain my parents have suffered to give me the life I never had, gives me pains as I watch them come home tired and hungry every day since I could remember. Family first is what I go by, so I would take every available chance there is to be able to return the favor. Parents are not Just the people who wash your loathes and cook you dinner, they are the people who have striver to see you be happy. Though I could tell them I love them every day, nothing more than physically showing them proves more. The day I read my first car book at the age of 5 was the day that marked the beginning of my love for cars. The rumbling roars of the cars circling the track is like music to my ears. Spending time admiring the beauty of each car would be my second definition of fun. But the real fun lies behind a leather gripped steering wheel of an Italian supercargo. The adrenaline that rushes through your brain makes o feel like you never want to get out of the car, forgetting the fact that you once had a life. Speeding through the hollow tunnels leaving a trail of roars and taking the turns with such speed is what each young car fanatic would have dreamed of before sleeping. Its a shame that Im still in the introduction years of my life, unable to experience that life at the moment, but its good to know that with effort I can achieve it. Blood -rushing adrenaline, commitment to the family, and endless love for cars are the passions that have driven my life of dullness and bitterness to a life of sweetness and Joy.
